A law firm seeks a dedicated Pre-Suit Personal Injury Attorney to join its team in Valdosta, GA. This position is ideal for an attorney passionate about advocating for clients and negotiating settlements, focusing on providing exceptional legal representation in personal injury cases.

Duties:

  • Gather necessary documents, evidence, and relevant information related to personal injury claims.
  • Negotiate settlement offers with insurance providers effectively.
  • Manage a full caseload, ensuring timely and thorough case management.
  • Supervise and collaborate with a dedicated full-time legal assistant.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, ensuring they are informed and supported throughout the process.
  • Open new client files and establish initial contact, continuing regular communication with clients.
  • Conduct comprehensive investigations for each case, analyzing intake information and relevant documents while entering data into the firm's system.
  • Verify insurance coverage and liability issues, maintaining ongoing contact with insurance companies.
  • Oversee clients’ medical care by coordinating with medical providers, scheduling appointments, and explaining procedures and necessary documentation.
  • Continuously monitor case statuses and review medical records to ensure compliance and progress.
  • Organize and maintain case files, preparing them for submission to demand writers.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in personal injury law.
  • Active membership in the Bar Association in good standing.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to empathize with clients during challenging times and provide supportive guidance.
  • Determination and drive to achieve the best results for clients.
