Job Overview:

A law firm in Vancouver, WA, is seeking a highly experienced Senior-Level Family Law Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional client service, manage complex high-asset family law matters, and collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and support staff. This role involves overseeing a caseload, preparing legal documents, and engaging in business development activities.

Duties:

  • Provide exceptional client service and maintain regular contact with clients.
  • Execute case strategies with other attorneys, senior paralegals, clients, and support staff.
  • Manage a personal caseload, including high-asset and complex family law matters.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents related to family law cases.
  • Comply with all legal standards and regulations.
  • Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.
  • Attend business development and networking functions independently and with firm leadership.
  • Supervise staff within the practice group and provide support to other attorneys.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all employee and company information.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience practicing Family Law in Washington.
  • Demonstrated expertise in asset division, custody, spousal, and child support, with experience in trial, mediation, and litigation.
  • Active membership in the Washington State Bar; Oregon State Bar membership is a plus.
  • Ability to manage a heavy caseload and handle complex legal issues.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on client rapport and service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with high attention to detail.
  • Must be dependable, growth-minded, and possess excellent analytical and research skills.
  • Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the Washington State Bar Association; Oregon State Bar membership is a plus.
