This role involves collaborating with senior attorneys, associates, and legal staff to develop strategies for complex legal issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft high-quality legal documents, including motions, briefs, and pleadings.
  • Participate in all aspects of civil litigation, including taking and defending depositions, arguing motions, and trial or arbitration proceedings.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and other legal professionals to develop and execute case management strategies for complex issues.
  • Engage in case analysis and provide strategic recommendations to enhance case outcomes.
  • Maintain thorough case files, ensuring all legal documents and deadlines are managed effectively.
  • Stay current on legal developments and case law to provide informed legal advice.

Requirements:

  • 1-5 years of progressive civil litigation experience.
  • Strong research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
  • Experience in motions briefing, taking and defending depositions, arguing motions, and trial or arbitration experience.
  • License to practice law in the state of Colorado.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active bar membership in the state of Colorado.
