The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various trademark-related activities, including trademark searches, risk assessments, prosecution, maintenance, enforcement, and litigation. This position also involves advising clients on the management of both domestic and international trademark portfolios and navigating the U.S. Trademark Office's registration process.

Duties:

  • Assist with trademark and copyright-related activities across multiple business segments.
  • Conduct trademark searches, risk assessments, and provide counsel on trademark-related matters.
  • Manage trademark prosecution and maintenance, ensuring timely filing and compliance.
  • Advise clients on managing both domestic and foreign trademark portfolios.
  • Handle trademark enforcement, including potential litigation and disputes.
  • Navigate U.S. Trademark Office processes to secure and protect trademarks for clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide comprehensive legal solutions for clients.

Requirements:

  • 3-7 years of relevant experience in trademark and copyright law.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with other practice areas to offer holistic legal solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the State Bar (relevant jurisdiction).

Skills:

  • Expertise in trademark and copyright law.
  • Strong legal research, analysis, and writing skills.
  • Knowledge of U.S. Trademark Office procedures and international trademark laws.
  • Excellent client management and communication skills.
