A law firm seeks an experienced and highly skilled Trial Attorney to join its team in Philadelphia, PA. This hybrid position offers flexibility with remote work options. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing insurance defense matters. The firm is looking for a self-motivated individual with extensive trial experience who can contribute effectively to the firm’s growing caseload and litigation strategy.

Duties:

  • Case Management: Independently manage a variety of insurance defense cases, including personal injury, property damage, and related claims.
  • Litigation Strategy: Develop and implement effective strategies to achieve favorable outcomes in litigation matters.
  • Court Representation: Represent clients in hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings in both state and federal courts.
  • Legal Research: Conduct thorough research to stay current on insurance defense law, including statutes and case law, and apply findings to ongoing cases.
  • Client Relations: Maintain proactive communication with clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Negotiation: Utilize strong negotiation skills to resolve matters via settlement where appropriate.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure efficient case management and high-quality service to clients.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar in good standing.
  • Admission to the New Jersey Bar is a plus.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in Insurance Defense litigation.
  • Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload and effectively represent clients in a variety of insurance-related matters.
  • Excellent research, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • A demonstrated track record of successful trial experience and litigation outcomes.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar is required.
  • Admission to the New Jersey Bar is preferred.

  • Exceptional client communication and client relations skills.
