Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is seeking a highly qualified associate to join its Antitrust and Competition team in Washington, D.C. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of client representation matters, including civil litigation, DOJ/FTC civil conduct investigations, and criminal enforcement matters. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 6 years of experience with a strong foundation in antitrust law. Prior experience working with enforcement agencies or DOJ/FTC government service is highly preferred.

Location:

Duties:

  • Represent clients in civil antitrust litigation and investigations.
  • Assist with DOJ/FTC civil conduct investigations and criminal enforcement matters.
  • Provide strategic counsel on antitrust compliance and competition law.
  • Draft legal documents, including motions, briefs, and compliance guidelines.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex and high-profile cases.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis of competition law issues.
  • Maintain direct communication with clients and manage case progression.
  • Support internal investigations relating to antitrust and competition matters.

Requirements:

  • 2 to 6 years of experience in antitrust law (class years 2019–2023).
  • Extensive knowledge of antitrust law, including civil and criminal enforcement.
  • Experience in DOJ/FTC civil conduct investigations and criminal matters is preferred.
  • Prior experience with enforcement agencies or DOJ/FTC government service is an advantage.
  • Strong writing, research, and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex legal matters.
  • Strong academic credentials and attention to detail.

Education:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the D.C. Bar or eligibility for admission.
