A law firm in Louisville, KY, is seeking a Personal Injury Attorney with 3-8 years of experience. The ideal candidate will handle various personal injury cases, advocating for clients injured due to negligence and providing legal guidance and representation throughout the litigation process.

Duties:

• Manage a caseload of personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall cases, medical malpractice, and wrongful death claims.
• Conduct client consultations and case evaluations to assess potential claims.
• Investigate accidents, gather evidence, and interview witnesses to build strong cases.
• Draft and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials.
• Collaborate with medical experts, investigators, and other professionals to support case strategy.
• Provide ongoing communication and support to clients throughout the legal process.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Kentucky Bar.
• Minimum of 3-8 years of experience practicing law, focusing on personal injury litigation.
