Litigation Attorney - Personal Injury

A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney with experience in plaintiff personal injury litigation to join its team in St. Louis, MO. This in-office position offers the opportunity to work closely with an experienced litigator on complex, high-stakes personal injury cases. Duties:

• Take and defend depositions, ensuring thorough case preparation and strategy.
• Draft and file discovery documents, pleadings, and motions.
• Oversee the progress of cases, monitoring timelines and critical deadlines.
• Prepare for and participate in jury trials, representing clients effectively in court.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel.
• Appear in court as required for motion hearings and other proceedings.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience handling personal injury claims preferred.
• Admission to the bar and active membership in good standing.
• Licenses to practice law in Illinois and Missouri are required.
• Strong legal research and writing skills to support effective case strategies.
• Experience with courtroom motion practice is preferred.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active licenses to practice law in Illinois and Missouri.

Skills:
