A reputable law firm is seeking a results-driven and aggressive Litigation Attorney to manage a large docket of personal injury cases across Ohio. This role requires the ability to handle fast-paced work in a professional environment, with a focus on client communication, case development, and settlement negotiations.

Duties

  • Investigate case facts and develop evidence for damages.

  • Negotiate all aspects of case settlements, including lien resolutions, when appropriate.

  • Maintain regular communication and build positive relationships with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and insurance representatives.

  • Collaborate with team members to meet firm goals.

  • Supervise and support staff in case management and administrative duties.

Requirements

  • Admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio.

  • 2-5 years of experience in plaintiff or defense personal injury practice.

  • Insurance defense and/or prior claims handling experience is a significant advantage.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • Knowledge of Needles case management software preferred.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Superior negotiation abilities and the capacity to work effectively under pressure.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admitted to practice in Ohio.

Skills

  • Strong investigative and case development skills.

  • Excellent negotiation and settlement skills.

  • Ability to manage a high volume of cases effectively.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Familiarity with case management software (e.g., Needles).
