Evictions Attorney

A law firm seeks an experienced attorney to handle eviction matters remotely. This role involves managing eviction caseloads, providing strategic legal counsel to clients, and representing them in court. Duties

• Manage and facilitate eviction cases from inception to resolution.
• Provide legal guidance to clients on eviction-related matters.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings and trials.
• Stay informed about changes and trends in eviction law nationwide.
• Educate clients on legal developments impacting their operations.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year practicing law, with preference for experience in eviction, foreclosure, litigation, or title law.
• Active membership in the California State Bar (additional state bar licenses are a plus).
• Ability to manage multiple cases while adhering to strict timelines.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.

Certifications
