A law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Energy and Natural Resources - Construction Associate Attorney for their Austin office. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

 

Job Overview:

  • Provide legal support in the engineering and construction aspects of transition and renewable energy project development.
  • Manage a team and demonstrate strong drafting skills for construction contracts.
  • Analyze and synthesize new information with a focus on the energy industry.

 

Duties:

  • Support the engineering and construction aspects of transition and renewable energy project development.
  • Manage a team of legal professionals.
  • Draft and analyze construction contracts, including engineering, EPC, EPCM, equipment supply, and operation and maintenance contracts.
  • Analyze and synthesize new information related to the energy industry.

 

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of legal experience.
  • 3+ years of experience working on construction contracts of various types.
  • Interest in the energy industry.
  • Strong drafting skills and contract analysis capabilities.

 

Education and Certifications:

Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
