Job Overview: A growing law firm in Boca Raton, FL, is seeking a skilled and motivated litigation associate to join its team. This firm specializes in representing individual and corporate clients in areas such as construction, real estate, community associations, and business disputes throughout South Florida. Location:

  • Boca Raton, FL

Duties:

  • Prepare and file pleadings, discovery demands/responses, motions, and other legal documents
  • Assist in developing litigation strategies for cases
  • Communicate regularly with clients and opposing counsel regarding case progress
  • Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials as required
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case development

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of prior litigation experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Self-driven, highly motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active Florida Bar admission (required)

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong research and writing abilities
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research tools
  • Ability to handle a high volume of cases and work under pressure
