Duties:

• Oversee a high-volume caseload from start to finish.
• Prepare and draft legal motions to enhance case value.
• Handle all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Negotiate and settle cases, ensuring optimal outcomes for clients.
• Conduct client consultations to discuss legal strategies and treatment plans.
• Review and analyze legal documents such as demands, complaints, and discovery.
• Provide legal counsel on coverage issues and liability determinations.
• Communicate regularly with clients to update them on case progress.

Requirements:

• Active and valid license to practice law in California (candidates with pending Bar results will be considered).
• At least 3 years of experience in personal injury law.
• Proven experience in law and motion practice.
• Comprehensive knowledge of all phases of litigation.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Capacity to manage and mentor junior attorneys and support staff.
• Fluency in Spanish is preferred.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the California State Bar.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High level of proficiency in legal software, such as Casepeer or similar platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to negotiate and secure favorable settlements for clients.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
