Duties:

  • Manage a significant caseload within the creditors' rights sector, ensuring effective representation and timely resolution of legal matters.
  • Draft and prepare a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct discovery processes and handle depositions, addressing conflicts as they arise.
  • Represent clients in court, advocating for their interests in various legal settings.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop and implement strategic case plans that enhance the firm’s reputation.
  • Build and maintain relationships within the legal community to foster trust and credibility with clients.
  • Stay informed about pertinent laws and regulations, including TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and the Bankruptcy Code, to provide knowledgeable legal advice.

Requirements:

  • Must be an active member in good standing of the Missouri Bar, with the ability to obtain licensure in the Missouri federal district and bankruptcy courts promptly.
  • Preference for candidates with 5+ years of litigation experience; newly licensed attorneys are encouraged to apply.
  • Familiarity with the Missouri legal system and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Missouri State Bar is required.
  • Additional Bar licenses in other jurisdictions are a plus.
