Family Law Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Spokane, WA, is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to represent clients in family law cases, including divorce, child custody, child support, and domestic violence. Duties:

• Represent clients in family law cases, including divorce, child custody, child support, and domestic violence, in court.
• Draft and review legal documents such as petitions, motions, and agreements.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in family law.
• Efficiently manage a caseload, ensuring timely and accurate handling of all matters.
• Provide compassionate and comprehensive legal counsel to clients.
• Collaborate with the legal team to develop strategies and solutions for complex cases.
• Participate in mediation and negotiation sessions.
• Proactively manage and delegate tasks to support staff as needed.
• Develop and maintain a book of business using the Firm's marketing tools.
• Adhere to daily time entry requirements in the Firm’s time and billing software.
• Ensure adherence to the Firm's mission statement and core values.

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in Washington State.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in family law, with a comfort level in criminal court settings.
• Proven track record of providing excellent client service.
• Ability to manage a high volume of work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Washington State Bar Association license.
