Business Transaction Associate Attorney

A law firm in Minneapolis is seeking an experienced Business Transaction Associate Attorney with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, corporate governance, and general business law. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and writing abilities, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a proven track record of success in business transactions.

Duties:

• Handle mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, stock and asset transactions, corporate governance, and general business law matters
• Draft and review legal documents and agreements
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues to develop effective legal strategies
• Manage and oversee transactions from inception to closing

Requirements:

• Active Minnesota attorney Bar license
• 5-7 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, stock and asset transactions, corporate governance, and general business law
• Strong academic credentials
• Exceptional analytical and writing abilities
• Outstanding interpersonal skills
• Proven track record of success in business transactions

Education/Certifications:

• Juris Doctorate degree
• Active Minnesota attorney Bar license
