Duties:

  • Draft petitions and motions for workers' compensation cases.
  • Appear at hearings and trials throughout Southern California.
  • Take and defend depositions in workers' compensation cases.
  • Negotiate and settle cases effectively.
  • Manage a personal caseload with a focus on efficiency and quality.

Requirements:

  • Active membership in the California State Bar or awaiting results.
  • Minimum of 1 year of workers' compensation experience.
  • Ability to handle a caseload independently.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to manage cases efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • California State Bar License or awaiting results.

Skills:

  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent oral communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Time management skills to handle a varied caseload.
