Duties:

• Manage and defend cases in insurance defense, including construction, insurance coverage, professional liability, and general litigation matters
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials as required
• Provide legal counsel to clients on litigation matters
• Negotiate settlements and assist in resolving disputes
• Maintain effective communication with clients and colleagues regarding case status
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards
• Participate in firm meetings, trainings, and professional development

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience practicing law, specifically in insurance defense and litigation
• Proven experience in construction, insurance coverage, professional liability, or general litigation cases
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Indiana State Bar or ability to waive in
