A law firm in Berwyn, PA, is seeking an Insurance and Reinsurance Career Associate Attorney with over 5 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of issues related to professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance policies. The role requires exceptional academic credentials and demonstrated excellence in legal research and writing.

Duties:

  • Evaluate and interpret insurance coverage issues, focusing on professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance policies.
  • Develop and implement legal strategies to address and resolve complex insurance disputes.
  • Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, dispositive motions, settlement agreements, and briefs.
  • Oversee and manage all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, and court appearances.
  • Conduct detailed legal research to support case preparation and strategy.
  • Communicate and negotiate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, legal developments, and regulatory changes affecting insurance and reinsurance law.
  • Mentor and guide junior attorneys and support staff as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation.
  • In-depth knowledge of insurance coverage issues, including professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance policies.
  • Proven track record in managing complex litigation cases and achieving successful outcomes.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
