Job Overview:
A well-established Texas law firm is currently seeking a motivated Litigation Intake Associate Attorney to join the team. This position provides an excellent opportunity to work on high-value cases and earn additional income through commissions based on attorney’s fees collected.

Location:

  • Austin, TX

Duties:

  • Sign up new clients and manage the development of assigned cases.
  • Analyze legal issues specific to each case and develop strategies for resolution.
  • Prepare demand reviews and negotiate on behalf of clients.
  • Handle initial litigation processes, including preparation for trial.
  • Resolve cases through negotiation or litigation, ensuring the best possible outcomes for clients.
  • Distribute client funds upon case resolution.
  • Ensure adherence to ethical standards and provide stellar client service.
  • Collaborate with other legal professionals to achieve favorable case resolutions.

Requirements:

  • 0-3 years of personal injury experience.
  • Must be licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar.
  • Valid Texas driver’s license and a good driving record.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
  • Strong client service and communication skills.
  • Ability to negotiate and advocate effectively on behalf of clients.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in Texas.

Certifications:

  • Texas State Bar membership in good standing.

Skills:

  • Strong negotiation skills and legal analysis.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when necessary.
  • Bilingual in Spanish (preferred).
