Job Overview

A law firm seeks a dedicated and results-driven litigation attorney to handle first-party windshield cases and transition into bodily injury (BI) litigation. This role involves managing cases from the initial litigation phase through trial and collections, with opportunities for professional development in personal injury law. The firm provides a comprehensive training program to support attorneys in developing into skilled BI litigators.

Duties

  • Manage first-party windshield cases throughout the litigation process, including trial and collections.

  • Handle pre-suit bodily injury cases as part of professional growth within the firm.

  • Conduct depositions, attend hearings, and participate in trials.

  • Develop litigation strategies and ensure compliance with Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and Florida Evidence Code.

  • Work collaboratively with other attorneys and legal staff to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in civil litigation.

  • Strong knowledge of Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and Florida Evidence Code.

  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent legal representation.

  • Experience handling depositions, hearings, and trial participation.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • An active member of the Florida Bar in good standing.
