Attorney with 5+ years of personal injury experience

A law firm in Alexandria, LA, is seeking an experienced Attorney to manage personal injury cases from inception through trial. The ideal candidate will have strong case management skills, a deep understanding of medical treatment, and the ability to effectively advocate for clients.

Duties:

• Manage personal injury cases from inception through trial, ensuring efficient and effective case resolution.
• Communicate with clients, adjusters, medical professionals, opposing counsel, the Court, and internal team members to resolve cases.
• Investigate claims, gather evidence, and document injuries and expenses.
• Review medical records and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Negotiate settlements and think strategically to zealously advocate for clients.
• Manage personnel, including training, coaching, hiring, and discipline.
• Assist with training and development of staff.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed and in good standing with the Louisiana Bar.
• 5+ years of personal injury experience.
• Proficiency in case management software.
• Understanding of medical treatment and documentation.
• Advanced computer skills.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Louisiana State Bar and in good standing.
