Job Overview: A law firm in San Diego, CA, is seeking an experienced Insurance Coverage Associate Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of relevant experience in insurance coverage litigation and a strong background in analyzing insurance policies, drafting coverage opinions, and representing clients in coverage disputes.

Duties:

• Analyze insurance policies to determine coverage rights and obligations.
• Conduct legal research and draft coverage opinions for clients.
• Represent clients in coverage disputes, including negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and litigation.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents related to insurance coverage matters.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance carriers.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents related to insurance coverage.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar.
• 2-4 years of experience practicing law, focusing on insurance coverage litigation preferred.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
