A law firm seeks a motivated Attorney to join its team in San Francisco, CA. This position focuses on representing non-profit housing providers in managing supportive and subsidized housing throughout San Francisco and surrounding counties. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in litigation, as well as foundational knowledge of real property and housing law.

Duties

  • Prepare a variety of legal documents, including contracts, briefs, and motions.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to support case development.
  • Draft and respond to discovery requests and motions.
  • Collaborate with senior associates to provide effective legal counsel.
  • Negotiate on behalf of clients in various matters.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed client records.
  • Analyze cases and manage all aspects from intake to conclusion.
  • Attend court appearances, including hearings, settlement conferences, and trials.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and successful completion of the bar exam.
  • Active membership in the American Bar Association (ABA).
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Capacity to collaborate with colleagues and prioritize client needs.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited institution.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law and an active member of the ABA.
