Job Overview: A prominent law firm is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney specializing in commercial real estate law. Duties:

  • Draft and review real estate contracts, leases, easements, and other legal agreements.
  • Conduct due diligence on real estate transactions, including title searches and inspections.
  • Prepare and review closing documents and entity formation documents.
  • Issue title commitments on behalf of national title insurance companies.
  • Advise clients on legal aspects of real estate transactions and property law.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions for real estate deals on behalf of clients.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal requirements throughout the real estate transaction process.
  • Oversee the closing of real estate transactions to ensure smooth execution.
  • Stay current on real estate laws, regulations, and market trends impacting the industry.
  • Work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and real estate professionals to meet client and firm objectives.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active member of The Florida Bar in good standing.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing commercial real estate law.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate transactions, property law, and contract law.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Attention to detail and solid analytical abilities.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality legal services with successful outcomes for clients.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in Florida.
