A law firm in Atlanta, GA is seeking a dedicated Personal Injury Attorney to provide legal representation to clients who have been injured due to negligence or misconduct. The candidate will handle personal injury cases, advocating for clients' rights and ensuring they receive fair compensation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Evaluate personal injury cases by reviewing medical records, police reports, and other relevant documents.
• Interview clients to gather necessary information and assess the strength of their claims.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients, explaining their legal rights and options.
• Conduct legal research to support case strategies and stay updated on personal injury laws and regulations.
• Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies, opposing counsel, and other parties.
• Represent clients in negotiations, hearings, trials, and settlement conferences.
• Collaborate with experts such as medical professionals and accident reconstruction specialists.
• Maintain organized case files, including all relevant documents and evidence.
• Keep clients informed about case progress and respond promptly to inquiries.
• Attend seminars, workshops, and professional development opportunities to stay current in personal injury law.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Georgia State Bar and in good standing.
• 1-3 years of experience practicing plaintiff personal injury law.
• In-depth knowledge of personal injury laws, regulations, and legal procedures in Georgia.
