Duties

• Advise clients on employment-related matters, including compliance with federal and state statutes.
• Draft and review employment manuals and other employment-related documents.
• Represent clients in adversarial proceedings, including state and federal litigation.
• Provide legal counseling and advice on employment law issues.
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues on employment law strategies and solutions.

Requirements

• Active membership and good standing with the Texas Bar.
• Counsel position: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in labor and employment law.
• Experience with adversarial proceedings in state and federal courts.
• Trial experience is preferred.
• Strong familiarity with federal and state statutes affecting employment relationships.
• Comfort with direct client interaction and providing legal advice.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Texas Bar.
