The ideal candidate will be adept in law and motion practice and must be licensed to practice law in Texas. Additional licensure in other states is considered a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Represent clients in insurance defense cases, focusing on bodily injury claims and related matters.
• Prepare and present legal arguments in court, including drafting motions and briefs.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing parties and insurance companies.
• Manage case files from inception through resolution, including coordinating with clients, experts, and other legal professionals.
• Develop and implement defense strategies tailored to individual cases.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on insurance-related issues.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends impacting insurance defense.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in insurance defense, with a strong focus on bodily injury cases.
• Demonstrated experience in law and motion practice is highly desirable.
• Currently licensed to practice law in Texas; additional licensure in other states is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven track record of successful case management and resolution.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in Texas.
