Entry-level Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks a motivated and detail-oriented entry-level associate attorney to join its team in West Palm Beach, FL. The ideal candidate will work closely with experienced attorneys, gaining hands-on experience in Workers' Compensation law and related litigation matters. This position offers excellent mentorship and growth opportunities for a recent graduate or attorney with limited experience.

Duties

• Assist in managing Workers' Compensation cases from inception to resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and team members.
• Participate in court proceedings, depositions, and mediations under the guidance of senior attorneys.
• Contribute to case preparation, including gathering and reviewing relevant documentation.

Requirements

• 0 to 3 years of legal experience; prior experience in Workers' Compensation law is a plus but not mandatory.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong research and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
• A proactive and team-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous learning.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Florida Bar or pending admission (required).
