Duties:

  • Lead M&A transactions for public and private companies
  • Draft definitive transaction agreements and other legal documents
  • Manage all aspects of strategic transactions, including:
    • Supervising junior associates
    • Coordinating with subject matter experts
    • Leading negotiations with counterparties
    • Ensuring seamless deal execution
  • Provide strategic guidance to clients throughout the transaction lifecycle
  • Collaborate with other legal teams and partners within the firm

Requirements:

  • 6-8 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and strategic transactions
  • Proven ability to serve as the lead associate on complex M&A transactions
  • Experience managing client relationships and leading negotiations
  • Ability to mentor and supervise junior associates in M&A transactions

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Bar of the state where the candidate will be based (New York, California, or Washington) or eligibility for admission
