Litigation Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm seeks an experienced Litigation Attorney to join their team in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will have 2-7 years of relevant experience, with a preference for civil litigation expertise.

Duties:

• Represent clients in civil litigation proceedings, including trials, hearings, arbitrations, and mediations.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to provide clients strategic advice and guidance.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
• Prepare witnesses for deposition and trial testimony.
• Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution processes.
• Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to manage caseload effectively.
• Maintain accurate and detailed case records and documentation.
• Stay current on legal developments, case law, and industry trends relevant to litigation practice.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in the state of Washington.
• 2-7 years of experience practicing law, focusing on litigation.
• Strong understanding of civil procedure and litigation tactics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
