Job Overview

A law firm is seeking an experienced and dedicated Structured Finance Of Counsel to join their team in Chicago, IL. This role involves providing high-quality legal services in structured finance, securitization, and CLO transactions. The ideal candidate will have a solid legal background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Duties

  • Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties
  • Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence in an efficient and responsive manner
  • Provide timely, accurate, and quality work product
  • Successfully meet deadlines expectations, and perform work duties as required
  • Foster positive work relationships
  • Comply with all firm policies and practices
  • Engage in both physical and sedentary activity, such as:
    • Working at a computer for extended periods, including on-screen reading and typing
    • Participating in digital/virtual conference calls
    • Participating in meetings as needed
  • Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned

Requirements

  • JD degree
  • 9 years of structured finance, securitization, and CLO experience
  • Direct and applicable AmLaw 100 law firm experience preferred
  • Licensed to practice in IL

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Illinois
