A respected law firm in Naples, Florida is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Attorney with 3-5 years of substantive litigation practice. This role is ideal for a litigation attorney who thrives in a dynamic environment and seeks exposure to a broad array of legal matters and client industries. The position offers a pathway for continued growth and involvement in complex legal disputes across both state and federal jurisdictions.

Duties

  • Manage and litigate commercial disputes from initiation through resolution or trial

  • Draft and argue dispositive and procedural motions in state and federal court

  • Conduct and defend depositions, client interviews, and witness preparations

  • Lead discovery efforts, including document review and interrogatory responses

  • Craft complex legal memoranda, pleadings, and briefs

  • Participate in trial preparation and trial proceedings

  • Collaborate with legal teams across multiple subject matter areas

  • Contribute to case strategy, timelines, and overall litigation planning

  • Assist with matters involving trust and estate-related disputes (preferred)

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of direct experience in complex commercial litigation

  • Admitted to practice law in the State of Florida

  • Eligible for or already admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts in Florida

  • Proven experience managing cases independently or in collaboration with a team

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active membership in good standing with The Florida Bar

Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence

  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills

  • Strong oral advocacy skills and courtroom experience
