Job Overview:
A well-established family law firm is seeking to hire two experienced Domestic Relations Attorneys to join their team. The firm is looking for candidates with at least 2 years of experience in family law. The successful candidates will possess strong academic and professional credentials, excellent analytical, legal research, writing, and communication skills, and experience in working with Probate & Family Court personnel. This is a great opportunity for attorneys with an entrepreneurial spirit to grow within a dynamic and experienced family law practice.

Location:

  • Boston, MA

Duties:

  • Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, custody, child support, and domestic relations issues.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents for family law cases.
  • Work closely with Probate & Family Court personnel and utilize court forms effectively.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff.
  • Attend hearings, mediations, and trials.
  • Collaborate with senior family law practitioners to learn and grow professionally.
  • Handle client intake, case management, and maintain regular communication with clients.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in family law.
  • Strong academic and professional credentials.
  • Experience with Probate & Family Court and related court forms.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and passion for family law.
  • Ability to handle a high caseload and meet deadlines.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Massachusetts (or New Hampshire for Andover office position).

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of family law, including divorce, custody, and support issues.
  • Proficient in legal research and writing.
  • Experience with Probate & Family Court procedures.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
