Domestic Relations Attorney

Job Overview:
A well-established family law firm is seeking to hire two experienced Domestic Relations Attorneys to join their team. The successful candidates will possess strong academic and professional credentials, excellent analytical, legal research, writing, and communication skills, and experience in working with Probate & Family Court personnel. Location:

• Boston, MA

Duties:

• Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, custody, child support, and domestic relations issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents for family law cases.
• Work closely with Probate & Family Court personnel and utilize court forms effectively.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Collaborate with senior family law practitioners to learn and grow professionally.
• Handle client intake, case management, and maintain regular communication with clients.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in family law.
• Strong academic and professional credentials.
• Experience with Probate & Family Court and related court forms.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• An entrepreneurial spirit and passion for family law.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Massachusetts (or New Hampshire for Andover office position).
