Job Overview:

A law firm in Dallas, TX, is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for representing clients in personal injury cases from initial consultation through trial and settlement. The role requires a deep understanding of personal injury law, a strategic mindset, and the ability to advocate effectively for clients to secure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in personal injury cases, managing cases from inception to resolution.
• Conduct initial consultations with clients to understand their needs and evaluate the merits of their cases.
• Develop and execute case strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
• Investigate claims, gather evidence, and prepare legal arguments to support cases.
• Draft and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Advocate on behalf of clients during negotiations, depositions, and court proceedings.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, informing them of case progress and addressing concerns.
• Conduct thorough legal research, analyzing relevant laws, regulations, and precedents to support case strategy.
• Engage in settlement discussions with opposing counsel, insurance companies, and other relevant parties.
• Prepare for and represent clients in trials, potentially serving as 2nd Chair, including presenting evidence and examining witnesses.
• Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and other team members to ensure effective case management and support.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.
• 3-5 years of experience as a personal injury attorney with a proven track record of successful case management and client representation.
