Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in personal injury cases, managing cases from inception to resolution.
  • Conduct initial consultations with clients to understand their needs and evaluate the merits of their cases.
  • Develop and execute case strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Investigate claims, gather evidence, and prepare legal arguments to support cases.
  • Draft and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Advocate on behalf of clients during negotiations, depositions, and court proceedings.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, informing them of case progress and addressing concerns.
  • Conduct thorough legal research, analyzing relevant laws, regulations, and precedents to support case strategy.
  • Engage in settlement discussions with opposing counsel, insurance companies, and other relevant parties.
  • Prepare for and represent clients in trials, potentially serving as 2nd Chair, including presenting evidence and examining witnesses.
  • Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and other team members to ensure effective case management and support.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a personal injury attorney with a proven track record of successful case management and client representation.
