The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in licensing, collaboration, and commercial partnering transactions, particularly in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries.

Duties:

• Represent biotechnology companies and pharmaceutical giants in licensing patents and collaborating on advancements in therapeutics, vaccines, diagnostics, and digital health technologies.
• Advise clients on legal strategies related to clinical trials and FDA regulatory approval processes.
• Negotiate complex standalone commercial transactions that drive technological advancements and business growth.
• Provide legal counsel to founders and stakeholders on developing and protecting cutting-edge technologies.

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of experience in licensing, collaboration, and commercial partnership transactions within a law firm.
• Strong academic credentials with a J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar (active and in good standing).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
