Location:

Duties:

• Handle insurance defense litigation matters, including commercial auto, trucking, and premises liability cases.
• Manage all phases of litigation, from case inception through resolution, including jury trials.
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• Conduct legal research and provide case analysis.
• Attend depositions, mediations, court hearings, and trials as required.
• Collaborate with legal team members to manage high-volume caseloads efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.

Requirements:

• 7-10 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on general liability and insurance defense.
• Proven jury trial experience in New Jersey.
• Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with insurance coverage (preferred but not required).

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed and in good standing to practice law in New Jersey.
