Duties

• Advise on contentious and non-contentious matrimonial and family law matters
• Handle divorce, paternity, complex financial disputes, marital agreements, and child custody issues
• Manage all stages of discovery, litigation, and trial processes
• Participate in client meetings and case strategy development
• Independently manage aspects of cases under supervision
• Engage in client and business development initiatives

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in family law within a law firm setting
• Admitted to and in good standing with the New York Bar
• Strong understanding of family law issues and dispute resolution

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active membership in the New York Bar

Skills
