Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join its practice in Irvine, CA. The position focuses on business litigation, real estate, commercial law, labor/employment, corporate securities, and bankruptcy. This full-time role offers the opportunity to provide legal advice, conduct research, negotiate, and manage a variety of legal matters. The ideal candidate will have experience in labor and employment law and possess strong research, negotiation, and communication skills.

Duties:

• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients in areas such as business litigation, real estate, commercial law, labor/employment, corporate securities, and bankruptcy.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on various cases.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts.
• Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and depositions.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal teams to develop case strategies.

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of experience in legal practice, with a focus on labor and employment law.
• Strong research, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a legal team.
• Proficiency in the Korean language is a plus but not required.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the California State Bar (required).
