Duties

  • Represent clients in immigration matters before USCIS, ICE, and EOIR
  • Manage USCIS Asylum Petitions and Family Based Petitions
  • Conduct Adjustment of Status (AOS) interviews
  • Assist clients with work permit applications
  • Prepare and file legal documents, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws
  • Handle master and individual appearances for immigration hearings
  • Develop effective case strategies in collaboration with the legal team
  • Stay updated on changes in immigration laws and regulations
  • Provide excellent client support and maintain effective communication throughout the legal process

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Admission to practice law in California
  • 1-6 years of experience in immigration law, particularly with USCIS, ICE, and EOIR
  • Demonstrated experience handling master and individual appearances

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of California
