A New York-based Plaintiff's Personal Injury law firm is seeking a motivated Litigation Attorney to join its team. This position involves handling personal injury cases from inception to resolution, including court appearances, drafting legal documents, and conducting depositions. The ideal candidate will be dedicated, detail-oriented, and ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Location

Duties

  • Manage personal injury litigation cases from start to finish.
  • Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, and depositions.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, opposition papers, and discovery responses.
  • Conduct and defend depositions, 50-H hearings, and Examinations Under Oath (EUOs).
  • Collaborate with supervising attorneys and maintain excellent client communication.

Requirements

  • 1-5 years of experience in personal injury litigation.
  • Must be admitted to the New York State Bar.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Detail-oriented, punctual, and dependable.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications and Skills

  • Admitted to the New York State Bar (required).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
