Job Overview: A law firm in Miami, FL, is seeking a Trusts and Estates Associate Attorney with 3-6 years of experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in complex estate planning, asset protection planning, trust and estate settlement, and taxation. Duties:

  • Assist senior attorneys in preparing estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
  • Conduct legal research on various trusts and estate matters.
  • Draft legal memoranda, correspondence, and other estate planning and administration documents.
  • Participate in client meetings and consultations, providing legal advice and guidance on trusts and estates issues.
  • Collaborate with other practice areas within the firm on matters involving trusts and estates.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of trusts and estates experience.
  • Experience in complex estate planning, asset protection, trust and estate settlement, and taxation.
  • International estate planning experience is a plus.
  • LL.M. in Estate Planning or Taxation.
  • Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Membership in The Florida Bar.
