A law firm in San Diego, CA, is seeking a Senior Insurance and Reinsurance Career Associate Attorney with over 5 years of experience in insurance coverage and complex litigation. The ideal candidate will possess strong academic credentials, exceptional research and writing skills, and a deep understanding of coverage issues under professional liability, general liability, and directors' and officers' insurance policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze insurance policies and provide coverage opinions.
• Draft coverage position letters and pleadings.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on insurance coverage issues.
• Manage complex insurance litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Advise clients on risk management and insurance regulatory matters.
• Participate in negotiations, mediations, and arbitrations related to insurance disputes.
• Provide strategic guidance and support to junior attorneys and legal staff.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar and in good standing.
• 5+ years of experience in insurance coverage and complex litigation.
• Strong understanding of coverage issues under professional liability, general liability, and directors' and officers' insurance policies.
• Excellent academic credentials with superior research and writing ability.

Education and Certifications:
