Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Minneapolis is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 2-4 years of experience to join its esteemed Franchise & Distribution practice group. The role requires strong research, writing, critical-thinking skills, and excellent interpersonal abilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on various litigation matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
• Manage discovery processes and document production.
• Assist in developing case strategy and tactics.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex litigation matters.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Minnesota State Bar, or ability to waive in.
• 2-4 years of experience in general litigation, preferably with exposure to franchise and distribution matters.
• Strong research, writing, and critical-thinking skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
