Patent Prosecution Attorney

A law firm in Austin, TX, is seeking a Patent Prosecution Attorney with experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications. The ideal candidate will be licensed to practice law and registered to practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), with a preference for candidates holding degrees in computer science, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Draft and prosecute patent applications before the USPTO.
• Conduct patentability and clearance searches and provide opinions.
• Counsel clients on patent strategy and portfolio management.

Requirements:
