Job Overview:
A well-established law firm located in Los Angeles, CA, is actively seeking a skilled Litigation Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of experience to join its dynamic business litigation team. The firm is looking for candidates who possess outstanding research, writing, and analytical skills, along with a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and collaboratively, handling complex litigation matters with a high level of professionalism and efficiency. Experience in both state and federal court litigation in California is essential.

Duties:

• Manage and support business litigation cases from inception to resolution, including legal research, drafting motions, and preparing discovery documents.
• Represent clients in hearings, depositions, and court appearances.
• Prepare pleadings, legal memoranda, and other written documents for submission to courts.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on strategy development and case management.
• Participate in settlement negotiations and explore alternative dispute resolution options.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on case progress.
• Stay current on developments in litigation law and best practices to ensure the highest quality of service.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4-6 years of litigation experience in state and/or federal court, specifically in California.
• Proven track record of handling business-related legal matters, including complex litigation.
• Strong writing, analytical, and research skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be licensed to practice law in California.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in California.
