The ideal candidate will have a background in labor/employment and/or commercial litigation and the ability to independently handle cases from inception. This role demands strong writing and research abilities, along with a proven track record in litigation, including depositions, discovery, motion practice, and court appearances. Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case strategies and meet client needs.
• Draft and review legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and contracts.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and engage in negotiations on their behalf.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, providing case updates and addressing concerns.
• Advise clients on a variety of workplace issues, including wage and hour disputes, discrimination, retaliation, collective bargaining agreements, employee handbooks, workplace accommodations, non-compete agreements, and contract disputes.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active admission to the NJ State Bar Association; admission to the NY Bar is a plus.
• Proven experience in labor/employment and/or commercial litigation is preferred.
• Strong legal drafting and research skills are essential.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the NJ State Bar is required; NY Bar admission is a plus.
