Job Title: Family Law Attorney

Job Overview: A well-established law firm in Camp Hill, PA, is seeking a Family Law Attorney to join their team. This role involves working closely with senior attorneys to handle a broad range of family law matters. The position provides opportunities to engage with clients, represent them in court, and manage case preparations from start to finish. Duties:

  • Handle family law cases, including divorce, asset distribution, alimony, child custody, and adoption.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to support cases and provide accurate information to senior attorneys and clients.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, settlement agreements, and contracts.
  • Prepare for trial, including deposition preparation, discovery, and strategy formulation.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials and hearings.
  • Assist in the preparation of expert reports and mediation statements.
  • Ensure timely filing of court documents and adherence to court deadlines.
  • Collaborate with clients and colleagues to move cases toward resolution.
  • Maintain organized client files for easy access and review.
  • Participate in business development activities to grow the firm's client base.

Requirements:

  • Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania.
  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • 2-4 years of experience in family law, including trial experience at both common pleas and superior court levels.
  • Familiarity with Orphans' Court and Prothonotary’s Offices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment with attention to detail and time management.
  • Commitment to professionalism and teamwork.
  • Client-focused approach with a proactive attitude.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Pennsylvania State Bar License.
  • Notary Public License (preferred).

Skills:
