A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Plaintiff's Personal Injury Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in personal injury law and will be responsible for managing complex cases, leading legal strategies, and mentoring junior attorneys.

Duties:

  • Represent plaintiffs in high-stakes personal injury cases, including severe injuries, wrongful death, and other complex claims.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case strategies and arguments.
  • Draft and file detailed legal documents, including complaints, motions, and briefs.
  • Communicate with clients to provide case updates, gather necessary information, and offer legal advice.
  • Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance companies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Prepare for and lead depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
  • Develop and implement effective case strategies in collaboration with the legal team.
  • Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and legal staff.
  • Stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents in personal injury law.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury law.
  • Proven track record of managing and winning complex personal injury cases.
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
  • Leadership experience and the ability to mentor junior attorneys.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to and active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
