Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking a skilled litigation associate with 4-7 years of experience to join its team and work on a variety of complex litigation matters. This position is available at any of the firm's office locations nationwide. The firm handles cutting-edge disputes, including fiduciary obligations for multi-billion dollar pension plans, employee and disability retirement benefit disputes, constitutional and public agency law compliance, intellectual property disputes, insurance coverage, real estate, and breach of contract claims. Location:

  • Denver, CO

Duties:

  • Handle a diverse range of litigation matters, including fiduciary disputes, pension plan issues, intellectual property, insurance coverage, real estate, and breach of contract claims.
  • Draft and respond to written discovery, pleadings, motions, and briefs in both state and federal court.
  • Assist with eDiscovery processes and document review.
  • Participate in depositions and trial preparation.
  • Manage multiple cases and deadlines while working effectively as part of a team.
  • Take ownership of significant projects and responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • 4-7 years of experience in litigation.
  • Admission to the State Bar of California required.
  • Experience drafting and responding to written discovery, pleadings, motions, and briefs in state and federal courts.
  • eDiscovery experience and deposition experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the State Bar of California.

Skills:

  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented with good business judgment.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • eDiscovery and deposition experience preferred.
